One can not fall in love with perfection, but when in love, one considers oneself , the love and the loved one to be perfect.
True love will always be imperfect, rife with flaws and utterly human.

Entirely my opinion, anyone is free to unsubscribe.

I totally second you.
True love will always be imperfect and in that imperfection lies its beauty.

So you're saying what we love is not perfect, but we perceive it as perfect? But then, isn't it our own opinion that matters? So, if we think it's perfect, shouldn't it be perfect? Now, then again, if we know that true love isn't perfect, we can't say that our love is perfect. But what if we perceive it as perfect? What then huh?

Googley-ed? :)

@clouds, Sree,Starry, Bedatri, Solo- Thank you!!!:-)

@Indra-Ah! That's typically you.
well what I think is...one can respect, admire, worship the perfect, but very very rarely can one love it. Love requires some sort of an identification...some flaw, some idiosyncracy that brings out the human quality. Yes,it's only our opinion that matters. But our opinions are subject to change.Time, maturity and subsequent love afafirs(erm pardon my political incoorectness)change our opinion.Again, this 'Oh he's perfect!' 'oh she's just the perfect one for me!'- are, truth be told,false promises that one makes to oneself, when better judgement gets clouded by passion and irrationality.Love is,I think,essentially irrational.
